Doug,
I flew and maintained N4138D mostly in Honduras while BMW owned it from '94 to '08. How many pics do you want?
Just a FYI, I recently moved from Tucson to Bolivar, MO (M17) and am running the shop there. If anyone needs Helio maintenance, flight instruction or something ferried, I am a more centrally located in the US these days. Plus, I am only a couple hours drive from Ken Noe.
Fly safe.

Interesting that it still has the Biblical Ministries logo on the tail. It is registered to the Lely Family and up for sale by Carel Lely for $80K or make an offer.
Also interesting is the only other guy that I've ever known that was named Carel was my Uncle.
I opened a couple pictures from the Controller site above
also listed here

Hello- Ive been considering the purchase of a Helio on and off for some time as I gather that the performance most closely fits my flying goals. I was excited to see N4138D advertised at a reasonable price and located a reasonable distance from my home (Payette Idaho S75). I'm concerned about the sustainability of the GO-435 and contacted Central Cylinder as mentioned in previous threads. They indicated that the engine has virtually zero parts availability (new or used) and because of that, they no longer service this engine. I'm sure one could look far and wide, daily searching ebay etc. and stockpiling exotic but that doesn't sound like a practical way to operate an airplane. I also searched for an STC that would allow for a more common engine to be swapped in, but so far I can't find one. Before I get too excited about this one, is anybody aware of a way to keep these engines going with relative certainty or upgrading without going Experimental? Thanks!
