I use one of their robots for my 295. Works like a charm.

Thank you, what model of tug are you using?

Come on Guys....Grab the handles Push it in and out...get some excercise..keep yourself young!  Don't use escalators or elevators either!!  LOL

You must be a very strong person! I'm not weak, I can easily lift a 110-pound bag of cement, but I can't move Helio alone.

For T1V2 and T1X2 tugs, there is such an accessory: https://acairtechnology.com/collections/accessories/products/tail-wheel-option
Do I need to buy it to tow Helio?

I am using the the ac air technology, but the model I have is much more than what is needed for the Helio.  I also have an L29 military traning jet that weighs 8000 gross. https://acairtechnology.com/products/ac-tracktech-t1-7-with-lazy-susan

This model would work fine:  https://acairtechnology.com/products/ac-tracktech-t1x3-compact-tug-with-lazy-susan

Rais,
I just have the standard T1V2. It does rack back and forth a little bit without that accessory but it does just fine for me. It would be easier to get the tailwheel in the cradle if the wheels were chocked but I just hit it in 2nd gear and that works well. Small learning curve but easy, especially if you are familiar with radio controlled models.   Paul

I use the Best Tug B5 with knobby tires to move the 395 in and out of the hangar onto an often snowy apron and yard - it works great and well worth the investment.  Tailwheel easily loads onto the machine and centers the weight over the tugs axle for good traction.  Nice to avoid running a motor in the hangar.  Also, have the optional compressor which has been handy for tire inflation.

Does anyone use a golf cart to move their Helio?  My buddy uses one with his C-195 and N3N.  towing ball on the front of the cart and a  tow bar that runs each main gear.  The tow bar has a downward facing pin that drops into a bracket near each main wheel.  On his 195 they are welded on but maybe a clamp on solution could be made?  Quite cheap solution and it makes backing the plane into the hangar quite easy.  Since my cousin overhauls used golf carts I will try to make this system work on the Helio.
