c/n H-7, built 02/84 as model H-700, original registry N40353 advertised as H-700SP (seaplane), placed in experimental research category to show compliance with FARs sold 03/84, Air America (Rik Luytjes) PA placed on Edo 3430 floats then Edo 3500 amphib floats (STC SA2145CE) and more aerodynamic cowling with more efficient cooling baffling (STC SA2141CE) sold 01/86, Resource inc (Roger Engen) AKsold '86, N981RD Forrest BIRD (Bird Space Technology) rereg N961RD (Forrest bIRD ID sold '89, Northern Jet inc MN sold  '91, dereg export reg 5B-CIH Consonair ltd Nicosia, Cyprus '?, Seaplanes Air Touring & Mark Aviation, Nicosia Cyprus until '95, Certificate of Airworthiness expired it has been withdrawn from use and, as of 7/12, 5B-CIH was parked along with other aircraft withdrawn from use, in airport salvage area behind the new control tower at Nicosia-Lakatamia Airport, Cyprus

notice the more aerodynamic cowling primarily designed for much better cooling if you have a H-700 you need this cowling.

I found a picture of H-7 enroute to Cypress at Biggin Hill fld London in'91, so I decided to post it kind of an interesting registry while it was registered in the US to Forrest Bird (Gump??) the a/c was N981RD (Big Bird) then when he bought a twin he moved that registry to it, and reregistered H-7 to N61RD (little bird).

I opened it as #3 in the lineup

Anyone know if H-7 is still sitting in the airport salvage area behind the new control tower at Nicosia-Lakatamia Airport, Cyprus?
