c/n 1440, built 03/71 as model H-295, original registry N6485V (reg reused on c/n 1432) Munroe Lyeth Jr. (Moline Aviation) CA installed Rayjay/Riley Turbocharger sold '72, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department set up for aerial surveillance with a nose mounted manually operated searchlight, painted in Sheriff black and white paint scheme with SHERIFF across the entire top of the wing, as part of a Federal Grant to study the cost effectiveness of STOL aircraft vs helicopters, Gary Farrell flew a couple of scene's in a TV movie called Heist. After the study was completed the aircraft was used for prisoner transportation including, Michael Delia (head of the Mexican Mafia) Ruth Ann Morehouse from the Charles Manson gang, sold '78, Robert Erdmann VT (2nd Helio of 3) accident the pilot/owner was practicing touch and go landings, when the left main gear collapsed during the landing rollout @ South Burlington VT 6/84 dereg Mr Erdman stated intent to part out, rereg N648EV Robert Erdmann sold '85, United Underground Cables inc (Mike Lagare) WI sold '89, rereg N300FT (first used on c/n 1428 2/70, next reused c/n 1437 7/70, currently reused on c/n 1440 9/89) by Matt Kokkonen San Luis Obispo, CA (2nd Helio of 2) installed 3,800lb up-gross

Just now getting around to editing the sheriff's dept information more than 5 years. I wonder how much more of this stuff i'm going to run across.
