Title: Found a hello photo
Post by: Jason Stephens on December 04, 2020, 12:50:39 PM
Here is a photo I found on the wiki page for author Richard Bach.  He wrote one of his books while living at our glider school back in the 70's and I was looking up some details for a customer.  Scrolling through a photo caught my eye, yup! a Helio!  Any idea which one it was?  It was taken during filming of Von Richthofen and Brown in 1970.  Never saw it but may look for it on youtube now.

Jason, If you had looked a little closer the caption on the photo is G-ARM, but thats OK, it gave me the oppurtunity to do some minor editing. I checked the helio list and it is c/n 523.

I copied that picture and used it as the last photo in the queue because it was taken not long before Helio 523 crashed.
