c/n 2524, built 11/65 as model H-250, original registry N6301V Beechwood's Flying Service PA sold '70, Robert Mcdonald PA sold '70, Griffith Grading co (D.K. Griffith Ga sold '71, Tommy Wright (Wings of Grace Baptist Mission) FL incident damaged in windstorm @ airport FL '73 sold, Louis Armbruster accident the engine failed during the initial climb on take-off, due to the cotter key that retains the carburetor float shaft to a bracket was missing. During the forced landing off airport, the gear collapsed @ Anchorage AK 11/75 sold '76, Monty Taylor AK repaired incident forced landing due to fuel exhaustion @ Eek AK 6/79 sold '82, Mack Taylor OK sold '91, Monty Taylor CO sold '91, Timothy Harrison WY placed on Airglas 3600 wheel skis sold '02, (Valley River Leasing) Roy Wells & Charles West  Murphy, NC

As always any further information or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

A friend found these photos at Flight aware.

To bad this Helio isn't going to Oshkosh it is about as original as any Helio I've seen.

I like the paint scheme also even if it was white instead of silver I would like it my opinion silver is to much work.
Roy and Charles must love this Helio. I would really like to see a picture of N6301V before they got it.

That is one great looking airplane.  I really like the paint scheme.  I will file this one away as a possible scheme to adapt and use when I finally get around to repainting mine....maybe yellow with blue stripes and slats.

I found an early photo taken after the accident 11/75 it shows the original paint scheme.

I will post it here and open as the first picture at the top of the photo queue
