Here is another picture that was pointed out to me a few days ago It was capationed 'RI AFNG 1964' so I decided to post it, I thought I basically had the History of this Helio figured out but apparently not. The history paragraph just had 'USAF Air NG until 05/67'. 19 other entries have just USAF NG and a date, so I may be a while getting my list edited.

After some investigation it turns out there are four state Wings in AFNG in different states, the 129th Air Resupply Squadron (now Air Rescue wing) CA AFNG, the 130th Air Commando Squadron (now Airlift Wing) WV AFNG, The 135th Special Operations Group (now Tactical Air Support) MD AFNG, and the 143rd Special Operations Group (Now Tactical Air Support) RI AFNG.

I hope other people didn't know this stuff about the AFNG.

So the History should read something like this now;

c/n 607, built 10/63 as U-10B s/n 63-13101 USAF accepted 10/63, t/n '63-13101' USAF 143rd Air Commando Squadron RI AFNG '64, US Pacific Air Forces, 14th ACW, 5th Air Commando Squadron, USAF Nha Trang S/Vietnam, accident hit truck on takeoff for Psych 0ps mission @ Cu Chi S/Vietnam 11/67, w/o as dbr (8th of 12 Helios USAF lost in S/Vietnam)
