Thought I would post this early photo of c/n 011, as N4206B here it should actually be 1st at the top of the page.

I found this magazine cover picture thought I would post it.

Stephen do you have or can you get a copy of the Helio article in EAA's "Vintage aircraft June 2002"?

Denis,
Thanks for the link to the magazine article. Brings back some old memories.

After reading about the Anvik river lodge. I remembered flying my 172B to Anvik village a couple times in '91 ten years before this magazine article to visit a friend in the construction and guiding business. I met several of my friends construction business associates but can't recall ever meeting a Cliff Hickson and I don't believe I ever went to Anvik river Lodge. I took a picture of the only store there I believe it was one of the oldest buildings there and was a mission at one time and i think it is still standing. We used a gill net to fish in the Yukon which is just to the east of Anvik village we caught a 38 lb pink Salmon almost a record and a 60 lb king Salmon and about 50 smaller salmon 10 to 20 lbs. It was a good thing he had a big river boat man that was work untangling that many salmon from a gill net. I will attach a couple pictures I took and a google map of the area. When I was there I parked near the south end of the runway right next to the rd going into town, It now looks like they've added onto the runway, in '91 the runway was fairly new and had been lengthened now it looks like you could land a pretty large A/C now.

Added black and white photo of a polka dotted c/n 011, as N4206B (with blue dots) and opened above the magazine article but should be the first photo at top of page.
