My apologies for being so vague in my response. Most aircraft under type certificate # 1A8 include all piston Helio's.. The only aircraft serial numbers that reflect the production models is as follows:...)

1) Helio H-395 serial no. # 555 and above per STC?? engineered by Clarence Brent!

2) All Helio H-395/295 Super Courier.. 1200 series and above)

3) The 2500 series H-250 MK II ( It has been you do not add 120 GAL. fuel, and #3800 GW to the H-250, you will not go anywhere!!!

request info on GW increase STC. Who sells it? How much is it? How difficult is it to accomplish? But most important is a contact name and /or number so I can do my own asking. Thanks.

Larry Montgomery of Larmont Aviation did the STC, it is now being done by Steve Shaffer in Spartanburg, SC.. I think the mod is somewhere around $5,000.00

Do not have his contact though, you might try Jim Metzler at JAARS

H295:
1. Split tubes added to some fuslage tubes. Different serial numbers require different tubes.
2. Longer antibalance tab.
3. Airspeed indicator remarked.
4. 2. Longer antibalance tab.
3. Airspeed indicator remarked.
4. The usual paperwork, flight manual supplement

H395: (Only 555 [or 556, have to check] and up)
1. Split tubes added to some fuslage tubes.
2. Longer antibalance tab.
3. Airspeed indicator remarked.
4. Must have heavy rear spar wings. (not all 120 gallon wings have heavy spars)
5. Must have later model stabilizer. (250-020-001)
6. The usual paperwork, flight manual supplement.

H250: I'm not aware of any gross weight increase for the H250.

I'm trying to find out the availability and cost of the H295 gross weight kit.
