I need the top front latch for the pilot's door. None of my parts books show a part number? Any idea? Thanks, Lynn Hawkins

If we're talking about the latch that holds the door open, you find these latches in the hardware store they are considered an antique latch used to hold kitchen cupboard doors closed. They are called an elbow latch and similar to this picture. I've seen velcro used but always thought if the wind got a little gusty maybe not quite as good, but these have some disadvantages they stick out where they can snag things, including you.
