1 picture check your albums. Please do an internet search maybe you'll come up with one I couldn't find, I need all the help I can get.

It seems someone should have a photo of Steve's airplane as N295SM or surely Steve has some photos?

Previous posts about N295SM or anything click on   http://flyhelio.com/smf/index.php?action=search  Enter ?

c/n 1437, built 07/70 as model H-295, original registry N300FT (reg first used on c/n 1428 2/70, now on c/n 1440 9/89) Missouri State Highway Patrol (2nd Helio 1st c/n 1428 crashed) installed camera window in utility door sold '74, John Roberts (dealer) SC accident aircraft ground looped during the take-off roll, due to improper operation of the brakes or flight controls and the landing gear collapsed @ near Durango-La Plata County Airport CO 05/74 sold, Arlynn Cuthbertson NV sold '84, Av-tec Air (William Weaver) AZ sold '85, rereg N100FT Matt Kokkonen CA (1st Helo of 2) sold '91, rereg N295SM Stephen Murray Encinitas, CA (1 of 7)

As always pictures would be greatly appreciated.

The photo attached of three Helios is probably c/n 1437 but possibly c/n 1440 as N300FT, probably Stallion c/n 004 and N4089H c/n H-14

If anyone has any information on c/n 1428, 1437, color schemes please let me know I'm sure 1440 was white with lt blue stripe.

Louis,
Maybe someone will step up and take credit for it, I've forgotten where the photo came from.

In current photo the paint remaining on the tail looks like the N300FT photo above

Happened to notice c/n 1437 History paragraph hadn't been updated.

I also noticed the tail fin on the refurbishment verifies the first photo at top of page

Edit update, Missouri State Highway Patrol ordered with optional 24v electrical system retractable landing light in both wings long range fuel tanks cross wind gear and utility door

N295SM Steve Murray (1 of 7) CA repaired using tailcone from Helio c/n 1471 XB-CHQ repaired gearlegs and replaced skins on fuselage started to refurbish interior 70% complete installed 24V Jasco alternator installed fuel drains at inboard fuel tanks Steve Murray deceased, estate sale 10/17, (Wright Air Service) Bob Bursiel AK (13th helio of 13) currently completing refurbish

I was curious and checked found the original registry N6483V which probably would have been used if not for the special registry request is available
