Title: Wheel brake system suggestions
Post by: Jason Stephens on October 30, 2018, 03:00:25 PM
Hello All,

My -395 is making rapid progress now and had some questions come up.  The aircraft has the crosswind gear system installed but will most likely not be used.  The factory brake system is also currently installed with the small resevoir master cylidners on the pilot side rudder pedals, and a remote resevoir attached to the firewall.

Any issues with the factory brake system on standard size tires?  Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jason

From your description, I take it you have the Cleveland master cylinders. They are really the best there are when it  comes to master cylinders on a Helio. They work well with the Goodyear brakes as well as the Cleveland brakes. Repair parts are readily available.
