Robert, sent me a couple restoration progress pictures. I will open them above at the bottom of the queue.

I see you've decided not to use an American military paint sceme.

Is this a type 'C' Canadian military roundel used prior to the mapel leaf and is this the one used in Vietnam?

I really like it,  are you going to put the US military serial # on the tail like most of the other countries did that flew Helios in the Vietnam war? If so I hope you use the (66-14377 to 66-14393) and not one already used on a Helio.

Yes, the fuselage is using the Type C1, Type B on the upper wing surface, and Type C on the underside of the wing. The vertical has a the Type C Fin flash.

I was going to go with the Maple leaf, however, I liked the colours in the types above better. The inboard leading edge slats will have the invasion stripes as well as the flaps. My propeller blade tips are yellow, so I`m trying to tie some colours into either the outboard slats, spinner, or cowling. I will also be adding some military stenciling on areas of the fuselage in the typical spots.

I will use the U.S. serial numbers that you had suggested previously (68-14393)
